Founded in 2009, West Chester Food Cupboard is a non-profit organization operated by a dedicated team of unpaid volunteers.
We currently serve well over 600 households every month and provide them with a variety of much needed food and personal care items. The West Chester Food Cupboard is an equal opportunity provider.
Members of the community provide nearly all of the contributions that we receive.
We are a “client choice cupboard”. Instead of receiving a pre-packed bag of groceries, our clients select the food they want and need. Quantities depend on the size of their household. Clients can choose fresh eggs, butter, cheese, milk, frozen meats, breads, pastries, tomato products, pasta, beans, rice, soups, fresh produce, etc., and household and personal care items as available.
